Michigan woman seeks new home for 'inconsiderate jerk' rooster

Woman writes she will give away his rooster to any home for free on Facebook

CLARKSVILLE, MI – Cock-a-doodle-doo? More like cock-a-doodle-don't.

One Michigan woman is actively looking to give away her "inconsiderate jerk" rooster for free on Facebook, and her post, along with its colorful language, has gone viral.

"FREE to a good home. Well, any home really," Denell McCaul wrote on Facebook. "At this point I don't give an (expletive) what kind of home this inconsiderate jerk goes to: (EXPLETIVE) ROOSTER."

McCaul then goes on to list the strengths of the rooster in her post saying the rooster is "the perfect rooster if your alarm is broken and you need to be awake at 5:30 a.m." She notes that 5:30 a.m. is his only setting and unlike normal alarms, the rooster has no snooze button.

The post also notes that the rooster may have superpowers. "It's like he knows where you sleep and can zone in on that particular window so maybe he has some sort of special x-ray vision where he can see sleeping people behind walls," McCaul wrote.

McCaul notes that if you are looking to improve your fitness, "He is also the perfect rooster if you want to start running...around your yard...while you're trying to get away from him."

Not only is the rooster good for cardio, but he also is a fantastic teacher of the arts.

"He is also an instructor of interpretive dance," McCaul wrote. "That's what I imagine it looked like as I went after him flapping my arms, jumping up and down, kicking at him, yelling and screaming, and swinging a mop in his direction."

To be the owner of her not-so-beloved rooster, there is one more catch. McCaul wants the person to come to her house and try to catch the rooster themselves. "You're coming out to catch this (expletive)," she wrote.
