WATCH: Man robs Dundee gas station at gunpoint; police asking for information


DUNDEE, Mich. – Police are searching for a man who robbed a Dundee gas station at gunpoint early Wednesday.

According to police, a man with a handgun robbed the Citgo gas station at 655 Tecumseh Street at 1:52 a.m.

Police said the man demanded money and made the clerk open all three registers. He was able to get an unknown amount of money.

He left on foot and walked toward Waterstradt Drive, where he was picked up by a waiting vehicle, police said.

The vehicle is described as a four-door maroon or red car. The car went east on Tecumseh, toward US-23, police said.

The man is described as black and in his 50s. He is about 6 feet 2 inches tall with a thin build and a gray mustache. He was wearing wire-rim glasses, black running pants with white stripes, a gray polo-style shirt and a gray baseball hat.
