VIDEO: Would-be armed robbers foiled by Texas store owner and son

Security cameras captured the moment a store owner and his son fought off would-be armed robbers in Arlington Texas. Police released the footage Tuesday of the incident that occurred last month.

Two men are seen standing near the counter when one of them pulls out a gun. Seconds later, that suspect jumps over the counter. The owner's son immediately runs and tackles the suspect. The owner also helps in restraining the man.

The second suspect looks on and at one point pulls out his own gun. He points it at the clerks, but they appear unfazed. The second suspect takes off out the door.

Eventually, the first suspect breaks free and gets away empty handed with his shirt torn from the struggle.

According to KXAS, Texas police are still looking for the two would-be robbers.

The store owner, Khurrum Monga, said the store is the only way he can support his family who moved to Texas from Pakistan 14 years ago.

Monga said, "When my son jumped in, I just followed him. If something is going to happen, it's going to happen to both of us."

It doesn't appear that any shots were fired in the struggle.
