PLYMOUTH, Mich. – Thousands of DTE Energy customers in Plymouth are without power after a substation caught fire.

The DTE Energy outage map shows approximately 3,800 customers are without power in the area.

There were also nearly 2,000 customers without power in Canton due to a separate issue, officials said. It appears those customers have had their power restored.

DTE Energy expects to have power restored by 11:30 p.m. Wednesday, according to the outage map.
