ECORSE, Mich. – A man broke into several cars during the lunch rush Tuesday at Taco Especial in Ecorse.
Security cameras captured the thief in the act as he nonchalantly broke into vehicles that were parked at the restaurant.
"In broad daylight it happened. That's what blows my mind -- in broad daylight," Taco Especial owner Georgina Garcia said.
The man climbed into the back window of an SUV, trashed the inside of the vehicle and stole a speaker.
"It's violating to know someone has been in your car," said Christabelle Cabrera, the owner of the SUV.
The man was driving a white Ford vehicle, possibly a Fusion.
