DETROIT – A 64-year-old man was shot Tuesday morning at a home on Detroit’s west side.
The shooting happened at about 6 a.m. in the 12000 block of Mendota Street.
According to police, the man was shot in the right side of the head and is in critical condition.
Police believe the shot could have been fired in a drive-by or was a stray bullet. The front window of the home was broken leading police to believe the bullet came from outside.
No other information was made available.
