Juvenile suspects identified in Eastern Michigan University shooting
Police say shot was fired into air during fight
YPSILANTI, Mich. – Several juvenile suspects were identified after a shot was fired on Eastern Michigan University’s Campus in Ypsilanti.
The shooting happened Sunday at about 1:30 a.m. in the area of Sellers Hall.
According to authorities, a fight had broken out and one person fired a shot into the air.
The individuals involved in the fight fled the scene. No injuries were reported.
The juvenile suspects were all identified as non-EMU students.
The Washtenaw County prosecutor remains involved in the investigation with the EMU Police Department.
