VIDEO: 'Can you spell deportation?' North Carolina McDonald's employee says to customer

A Charlotte, North Carolina McDonald's employee has been fired after video of her verbal attack on a customer went viral. Wendy Rios recorded the altercation and posted the video to Facebook on September 9.

Rios began recording as she sat outside the drive-thru window. The video shows the McDonald's employee shutting the window in Rios' face and giving a rude hand gesture. Rios sits outside the window, trying to get the employee's attention. When the employee returns, she opens the window and begins her tirade. The employee says "Donald Trump" repeatedly to Rios before asking, "Can you spell deportation?"

Rios said in her Facebook post that the argument began after she asked if her order was complete.

According to WCNC, the McDonald's employee was fired.

McDonald's said they saw the video and called the employee's actions inexcusable.

McDonald's Owner/Operator George Forrest released this statement:

The actions of this employee are inexcusable and in no way reflect the strong values McDonald’s and my organization place on diversity, inclusion and providing a welcoming experience for our customers. This individual is no longer employed at my restaurant and we have expressed our sincerest apologies to the customer for this situation.
