REDFORD TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Police are searching for an 11-year-old Redford Township boy who disappeared Friday while on his way to school.
Police said the boy was last seen riding a bike from his home near Beech Daly Road, north of Grand River Avenue, to his school near 7 Mile and Lasher roads in Detroit at 7:30 a.m.

Police said he was wearing a school uniform, burgundy pants and a burgundy sweater.
He is described as black with short black hair and brown eyes. He is 4 feet 11 inches tall and weighs 80 pounds.
Police said they do not know if the boy arrived at school. Police currently don't have a photo of the child.
