Oakland University police search for sexual assault suspect

ROCHESTER, Mich. – Oakland University police said a student was sexually assaulted Sunday on campus by a man who pulled down his pants.

Police said the incident happened around 12:30 a.m. Sunday near the Elliott Tower on the university's main campus.

The student was grabbed by an unknown man, who pulled his pants down. The man followed the student and continued to touch the victim inappropriately.

The student tried to flee into the residence halls, but was unable to get inside.

The man is described as white, 5 feet 6 inches tall with a slim build, brown hair and blue eyes. He was wearing a white shirt and shorts.
