Man suffers injuries to hands after dog attack on Detroit's west side

DETROIT – A 44-year-old man suffered injuries to his hands after he was attacked by a dog on Detroit’s west side.

The attack happened at the corner of Plymouth Road and Forrer Street.

Police said the owner of the dog ordered the dog to attack the man. Police also said the victim and the dog’s owner knew each other.

No other information was made available.
