Metro Detroit Weather: Saturday night clear and chilly

Lows near 45 degrees in city, in 30s in surrounding neighborhoods

DETROIT – Detroit needs rain! We are over 2 inches in the hole, below average for September. However, no one wants rain on the weekend. So, welcome more sunshine and spectacular fall conditions!

Saturday night will be clear and chilly. Lows near 45 degrees in the city and in the 30s in surrounding neighborhoods.

Sunday will be filled with blue skies, and it will be milder. Highs will be in the upper 60s.

Monday and Tuesday will have more sunshine, and temperatures go back 5 to 10 degrees above average. Highs will be in the mid 70s Monday and in the upper 70s Tuesday.

Wednesday will be near 80 degrees with mostly sunny skies. The next chance of rain is on Wednesday night.

Thursday will have showers with highs in the low 70s.
