Garden City High School in non-emergency lockdown after bullet found in hallway


GARDEN CITY, Mich. – Students and staff members at Garden City High School are under a non-emergency lockdown after a bullet was found in a hallway at the school on Middlebelt Road. 

Garden City Public Schools released this statement Monday: 

"Garden City High School is in a non emergency lockdown, and administration is working in conjunction with local law enforcement officials. A single bullet was found on the floor of the hallway in a common area. An investigation is underway. Precautions are being taken, student and staff safety remains a priority. Your support and patience is appreciated, please stay tuned for updates."
