DETROIT – A man was killed Saturday when he was hit by a vehicle in Detroit, police said.
Police said a man was hit at 11:14 p.m. in the middle of Van Dyke, near Maywood Street.

The man, who has not been identified, suffered severe body trauma, police said. He was pronounced dead on arrival at a hospital, police said.
The victim is described as black and 55-60 years old.
