Sunshine, cooler temps coming Monday

Highs to reach upper 50s

DETROIT

Sunday night will have clearing skies, and chillier air continues to pour in to the Motown area. Overnight lows will fall to 40 degrees in Detroit and in the upper 30s in surrounding cities.

Monday will become mostly sunny, and it will feel like fall. With beautiful fall colors, highs will be in the mid and upper 50s.

Tuesday and the rest of the week will have blue skies, not gray. It becomes warmer, too. Tuesday afternoon temps will be in the low 60s. Wednesday will have daytime temps in the mid and upper 60s.

Thursday, Friday and the next weekend will have highs near 70 degrees or more, and Motor City families will need their sunglasses.
