BLOOMFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Three teenage boys were arrested Tuesday in connection with an armed robbery in Bloomfield Township.
Police received a 911 call around 9:40 p.m. from a neighbor in the 2700 block of Acorn Road who heard a woman screaming for help.
The caller told police there was a possible armed robbery involving three people, one of whom was armed with a handgun. She said they had fled the scene.
Officers searched the area for the robbers and saw a dark-colored Pontiac driving on Acorn Road. The car was stopped and all three occupants were taken into custody.
Police said they found several items in the car that linked the occupants to the home that was robbed. Officers also found a small handgun that matched the description of the gun described by the caller.
The three people were identified as Dezman R. Fayne, Hawyard J. McAllister and Dorian Kellman. They are all 17 years old, police said. The teens were arrested and taken to the Bloomfield Township Police Department.
All three were arraigned Thursday at the 48th District Court.
Fayne and McAllister are charged with armed robbery and first-degree home invasion. They are each being held on $500,000 bail.
Kellman, who was driving the Pontiac, is charged with armed robbery, first-degree home invasion and possession of a firearm during the commission of an armed robbery and a home invasion. He is being held on $750,000 bail.
They are scheduled to return to court Nov. 2.
