Police seek assistance identifying suspect in Yale pharmacy break-in

Intruder stole a large amount of prescription medication, police say

YALE, Mich. – Detectives from the St. Clair County Sheriff's Office are investigating a break-in at the Yale Pharmacy on Brockway Road that occurred on Dec. 8.

According to authorities, deputies from the Sheriff’s Office were called to the pharmacy at approximately 8 a.m. on Dec. 8. Once on the location, the pharmacist told deputies the pharmacy had been broken into overnight and a large amount of prescription medication had been stolen.

Detectives were called to the scene and viewed surveillance video from the store and adjacent businesses, and it was determined the break-in occurred at approximately 5 a.m., police said.

All that is known at this time is the vehicle the burglar drove is a white GM SUV. The burglar is only known to be a tall, slender person.
