Grady Kindermon suffers from mental health issues, police say

DETROIT – Detroit police are asking for the public's help finding a 71-year-old man.

Police said Grady Kindermon was last seen at 2:30 p.m. Thursday.

Kindermon was discharged from Sinai Grace Hospital and was supposed to be transported to a boarding home, police said. Grady refused to cooperate and walked out of the hospital.

Police said Kindermon suffers from mental health issues, but is in good physical condition.

Kindermon is described by police as a black man with a dark complexion who is 6 feet tall, weighing 200 pounds, with gray hair, a gray scraggly mustache and a beard. Police said he was last seen in a light blue and white baseball cap, mint green pants, a dark-colored full-length trench coat with a beige waist-length jacket underneath and gray suede Puma sneakers.
