Monroe police find cocaine, drug paraphernalia in search of alleged lottery ticket thief's home
Man allegedly broke into gas station
MONROE, Mich. – Police in Monroe say they were able to identify a man who broke into a gas station early Friday.
The man broke into the Way Station in the 600 block of South Monroe Street and took lottery tickets, police said.
Police said that after they identified the man, they obtained a warrant to search his home. While searching his home, they found evidence linking him to the robbery, as well as cocaine and drug paraphernalia.
The man was arrested and lodged at the Monroe County Jail.
