HARPER WOODS, Mich. – Police said a driver in Harper Woods fired a shot from a handgun at another driver during a road rage incident on eastbound I-94.

Police said the shooting happened around 7:40 a.m. Wednesday on I-94 and Allard Avenue.
Investigators said the man was driving in the left lane of eastbound I-94 when he caught up to a red Chevrolet pickup truck with a Kentucky license plate.
The man flashed his lights to get the pickup truck to move over, but the pickup truck stayed in the left lane. When the man went into the next lane to pass the pickup truck, the other driver pulled alongside the man's car and pulled out a handgun, police said.
Officials said the driver fired a shot at the man's car before fleeing the freeway at the Eight Mile Road exit.
There was no damage to the man's car, and nobody was hurt in the shooting, police say.
