DETROIT – Police are investigating a violent collision involving a motorcycle that occurred Sunday night in Westside Detroit.
It happened in front of a hair salon on Joy Road near Piedmont Street.

Witnesses said workers from the hair salon rushed the motorcyclist to the hospital.
There is no word on his condition.
The investigation is ongoing.
