DEARBORN, Mich. – There was a power outage Tuesday morning at the Ford River Rouge Complex in Dearborn.

Employees could be seen standing outside the complex.

A Ford Motor Company spokeswoman said auxiliary lighting was on and employees were safe and working.

The cause of the outage is under investigation.

In a statement later Tuesday morning a spokesperson said production at the complex resumed about 10:45 a.m. The power was lost just before 6 a.m.

"We will make up this morning’s lost F-150 production," the statement reads.
