Sprint: Midwest voice issue resolved

Some Sprint customers in the Midwest might have not been able to make phone calls Wednesday.

Sprint said customers were experiencing "intermittent voice issues." According to the Sprint Care Twitter account customers were still able to make emergency calls.

The issue has since been corrected.

Sprint released the following statement Thursday:

“Some customers in Midwest and other markets may have intermittently experienced voice issues yesterday. Service began restoring at approximately 8:30 p.m. CT and service was fully restored at 10:30 p.m. CT. Maintaining reliable service to keep our customers connected is our top priority, and we deeply apologize to all customers impacted.”
