Yzerman bringing along Verbeek; Holland takes Edmonton job

The Detroit Red Wings front office is getting an overhaul.

Steve Yzerman is not only the new general manager in Detroit, but he's going to be bringing some of his colleagues from Tampa with him. According to reports, Pat Verbeek will join Yzerman in Detroit.

Holland to Edmonton

Meanwhile, Ken Holland has himself a new job. Holland, who had been Red Wings GM since 1997, is accepting a hefty offer from the Edmonton Oilers to take full control of the team's hockey operations.
