This weekend was gorgeous -- or at least Saturday was. Sunday was OK, but there were spotty rainshowers that kept us in check outside. The sun was struggling to make an appearance, but it was still a comfortable day. 🌥️
We're starting to see summer temperatures, but the spring-like rainy days remain. There may be some rain in the morning on Monday, but the afternoon temps will be in the middle 70s, the Local 4Casters say.

Amy Buchanan was busted breaking into a student's home last year in a shocking crime story that revealed a deeper personal issue for the school leader. She eventually shared her emotional story of fighting addiction.
"That memory of that day is seared into my brain and haunts me," she said.

Human trafficking arrests in Genesee County 🚨
The Genesee County sheriff's office will detail the arrest of 20 individuals for crimes related to soliciting sex with underage children during a news conference Monday morning. This is great news to go along with the massive human trafficking bust we reported out of Warren back in May.

We are welcoming Ruth Porat, CFO for Google and its parent company, Alphabet, to town this week. She will be in Taylor for a free "Grow with Google" workshop that is aimed at helping small businesses and job seekers grow their digital skills for a changing economy.
- The event is 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday at the Taylor Community Library.
Porat is the 21st most powerful woman in the world, according to Forbes. This could be worth checking out for anyone who is looking to make a career change.

Blue Monday kicks off Men's health week ⚕️
We told you about the free health screenings for men going on in Detroit and Pontiac this month, and here's another reminder to help men stay healthy. Today from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., the MIU Men's Health Foundation will take over Campus Martius in Detroit to kick off Men's Health Week with "Blue Monday."
The celebration will include live music, free health screenings, interactive lawn games, food trucks and prizes. Just head over to Campus Martius.
