HIGHLAND PARK, Mich. – A man was found shot to death Thursday morning inside a car on George Street in Highland Park.
A driver for Nationwide Towing was in the area looking for stolen cars. Police said George Street is known as a dumping ground for stolen vehicles.
The driver came across a 23-year-old man who had been shot several times in the driver's seat of a car that was still running.
According to authorities, it is the first homicide this year in Highland Park.
The investigation is ongoing.
