DETROIT – The city of Detroit is still looking for volunteers to help with events during this year’s Halloween in the D or donate candy.
Although rain is in the forecast, Halloween in the D will go, city officials said.

Anyone who can volunteer at various Halloween-related events or donate candy is asked to register online.

A Halloween part is scheduled from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Detroit Police Department’s 12th Precinct -- 1441 West Seven Mile Road. A haunted hayride will begin at 6 p.m.
A haunted house will be available from dusk to 10 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday at the Detroit Police Department’s 11th Precinct -- 5100 Nevada Avenue.
