MONROE, Mich. – A man was taken into custody Thursday morning in Virginia in connection with a shooting last month in Monroe, Michigan.
Police were looking for Cornelius Delvontae Aaron-Woody after a woman was shot in the leg at 502 Cass Street on Sept. 19.

Aaron-Woody is being held in Roanoke, Virginia while he waits for extradition to Michigan.
He is facing multiple felony charges, including attempted homicide and weapons offenses.
