DETROIT – Detroit police are searching for a missing 49-year-old man with dementia who was last seen Friday.
Police say James Darnell Brown was last seen around 5 p.m. Friday by a family member. He was dropped off in the 2400 block of Townsend in Detroit at 2 p.m. by the family member then. The family member said that when she returned to pick up Brown, he was not at home. Brown’s family is worried because he was recently diagnosed with dementia.

Brown is described as 5 feet, 8 inches tall, weighing 180 pounds, medium build, dark skin complexion, salt and pepper goatee, dark brown hair with a low cut. He went missing wearing a red and black shirt, black jacket and black jeans.
