CANTON, Mich. – After receiving numerous tips, police in Canton have arrested a woman accused of fraudulently using a credit card belonging to someone else to make purchases at stores in Canton and Westland.
Kristi Lynn Smith, 41, from Wayne was arraigned Saturday on multiple charges. She was charged with stealing or retaining a financial transaction device without consent, which is a four year felony. She was also charged with identity theft, which is a six year felony.

Smith was issued a personal bond and her next court date is scheduled for Nov. 15 at 35th District Court.
