Police seek shooter who injured man after fight in Detroit

Shooter ran off after injuring victim

DETROIT – Police are searching for a gunman who injured a 33-year-old man during a shooting that happened before 4 a.m. Saturday in the 2000 block of Chene in Detroit.

According to police, the shooter and victim were in the area when an altercation between the two started.

The shooter fired shots at the victim during the altercation, injuring him. After injuring the victim, the shooter ran off, police say. The victim is listed in serious temporary condition.

Police have described the shooter as a light black man, bald, medium build, wearing a forest green coat, blue jeans and tan boots.
