Police: Woman goes to Macomb County Sheriff’s Office with gunshot wound, says boyfriend shot her

MACOMB COUNTY, Mich. – Police said a man has been arrested after he shot at Macomb County deputies Tuesday night in Clinton Township.

Investigators said a woman arrived at the sheriff’s office just before 8 p.m. with a gunshot wound. She told them she had been shot by her boyfriend in Mount Clemens after an argument.

Deputies said when they arrived at the suspect’s home he began firing at them out of windows. Officers were not injured.

Police said the man surrendered. He is described as a man in his mid-20s. He is being held at the Macomb County Jail.
