Ford to make car parts from McDonald’s coffee husks
Ford and McDonald’s are teaming up to reduce waste and boost fuel efficiency, and it’s all about coffee beans.
Mcdonald’s is left with piles of coffee bean husks after brewing process. They end up in the trash, but now Ford is saying they will take those.
They can be used to make interior car parts -- lighter ones that make for more fuel efficient cars.
