DETROIT – Detectives from the Detroit Police Department are investigating a triple shooting that happened just after midnight Monday morning in Southwest Detroit.
According to Detroit police, it appears there was a car crash at Fort and Springwells in which both drivers are CPLÂ holders. Â After the crash they started shooting at each other and both were hit.

A 21-year-old man is listed in critical condition after he was shot in the abdomen. Â A 23-year-old man is serious condition after he was shot in the arm and leg.
A third person, a 20-year-old woman, was shot in the leg and she is in stable condition. Â At this time is it unclear is she was an innocent bystander or was a passenger in one of the cars.
Police have recovered one gun believe to have been used in the shootout.
