Recycling: The Resource Recovery and Recycling Authority of Southwest Oakland County , is a intergovernmental, municipal solid waste authority created in 1989 by the communities of Farmington, Farmington Hills, Novi, South Lyon, Southfield, Walled Lake, Wixom, and Lyon Township. The Reuse Center accepts donations of reusable household goods, office supplies, and building materials which are then resold to the general public at affordable prices. Call this number to find out what items can and cannot be recycled. (734) 662-6288
