DETROIT – Detroit Police are investigating a three car accident which involved ten people - including 5 children.
The accident happened Friday night near the intersection of 7 Mile and Hubbell.
According to police, the driver of the first car rear-ended a vehicle which was stopped at the traffic signal. The first car then flipped over onto another vehicle which was stopped at the light in the opposite direction.
In all, 10 people (5 adults and 5 kids) suffered minor injuries. The ages of the children involved have not been made available by investigators.
The driver which caused the accident has been arrested - but charges against him have not been released. Police believe alcohol played a factor in the cause of the crash.
