Armed robbers take money, cigarettes from Macomb 7-Eleven

MACOMB TOWNSHIP, Mich. - Police are searching for two suspects who entered a 7-Eleven store at 48989 Romeo Plank Road with guns Friday morning and stole several packs of Marlboro Menthol cigarettes and about $80-$100 in cash.

At about 3:57 a.m., two men entered the store and approached the clerk. One of the men carried an assault rifle while the other had a handgun.

The suspect who carried the assault rifle is a light-skinned black man wearing a blue one-piece jumpsuit, an olive or cream-colored knit hat and an olive or cream-colored long-sleeve T-shirt. He also wore a maroon colored mask and wore red gloves.

The suspect with the handgun is a white man wearing a black baseball hat, a long-sleeved white T-shirt, a red short-sleeve t-shirt and a blue one-piece jumpsuit. He wore converse tennis shoes and a maroon mask.
