CLAWSON, Mich. - The owner of Hideout Bar in Clawson is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading an arrest and prosecution of a man wanted for firing a shot in his parking lot during a road rage incident  Sunday.

The incident was caught on surveillance video.

According to police, two drivers were face-to-face in the center lane of 14 Mile Road and attempted to make turns. During the turn attempts, police said the drivers somehow became agitated. One of the drivers pulled into the parking lot of The Hideout bar. When the man got out of his vehicle, the other driver attempted to run him over, just narrowly missing him.

The driver then got of his vehicle and fired a shot towards the man.

An employee at the bar witnessed the incident and said the gunman had a woman and a child in the vehicle.

The owner released the following statement:

"We have been here 23 years. We have watched people grow up in this city and watched them grow old together. This is a great little city with hard working people where everyone helps each other out during good and bad times. We don’t want these horrible things happening in our city or anywhere else, so please if you have any information please contact the local authorities."

No other information was made available.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Clawson Police Department 248-435-5000.
