Clinton Township Meijer warns customers about potentially contaminated fuel sold Friday

CLINTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. - Customers who purchased diesel, unleaded regular or unleaded mid-grade gas Friday morning at the Meijer in Clinton Township are being warned that the fuel may have been contaminated.

Customers who purchased gas at the gas station at 40401 South Groesbeck Highway from 2:30 a.m.-10:30 a.m. are asked to call 1-800-543-3704.

Unleaded premium fuel was not affected. 

Meijer said that records show about 250 customers have been affected. The store is attempting to contact customers.
