2 dead in west Detroit shooting near Fenmore, Trojan streets

No confirmation on cause of shooting

DETROIT – Two people are dead after a shooting Thursday night on the west side of Detroit in the area of Fenmore and Trojan streets, according to officials.

A man in his 20s suffered a gunshot wound to his head. A 43-year-old man suffered multiple gunshot wounds to his stomach and lower body.

It was originally reported that one person was fatally shot and that there might have been a second victim. Detroit police later confirmed two people were fatally shot.

Officials are unsure of the cause of the shooting. 

Police have a vague description of a suspect. They said he's a man in his 20s who was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt and brown pants.
