DETROIT – Members of a church on Detroit's west side are cleaning up and assessing the damage after someone broke in and ransacked the place.
It happened at the New Greater Faith Missionary Baptist Church on Schaefer.

Sometime overnight Tuesday, crooks smashed their way into the church through a wall.
Church leaders tell Local 4 it appears only a small refrigerator was taken, but the cleanup and repairs from the damage will cost them money.
Church leaders also said whoever broke in might have actually answered a call from the alarm company.
