DEARBORN, Mich. - Dearborn police have released surveillance pictures of a bank robber who struck Wednesday afternoon.

Police said the man entered the Charter One bank at 15904 Michigan Avenue at 2:30 p.m. and brandished a handgun and gave a teller a note demanding money.

No one was hurt, but the man got away with an undisclosed amount of money.

Police describe the man as Black male, 20 to 25 years old with a neatly trimmed beard and mustache, 5 feet 6 inches tall, 145 pounds. He was wearing a dark blue hooded sweatshirt, a baseball hat with the image of a fox or wolf on it, and jeans.

"We hope that someone who can identify this subject will contact us with information on his whereabouts," said Police Chief Ronald Haddad. "All Bank Robberies are serious, but when a gun is involved the danger to the community is greatly increased."

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Dearborn police tip line at 313-943-3012.
