Detroit bankruptcy protesters rally outside court

Headline Goes Here

DETROIT - About a hundred protesters have been carrying signs and chanting in the street in front of Detroit's federal court as a judge held a hearing to announce whether the city was eligible to fix its finances in bankruptcy.

Police blocked off Lafayette Street to traffic in front of U.S. District Court on Tuesday morning.

One person repeatedly yelled, "From the streets of Detroit, what do we want?" The protesters replied, "justice."
