DETROIT – When a landlord went to go check on a house, he found the house was set on fire and there was a burned-up body inside.
The house is located on Fenmore Street in the area of 8 Mile and Southfield Freeway.
Police found the body at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday and say the body was badly burned so they don't know the identity of the victim. Police are collecting evidence to find out who it is and how the person died.
Kadeem Sims and his family just moved out of the house Monday, and he said the body doesn't belong to any of his family members.
Police are still investigating and the next step is to determine who the person is.
