Detroit man charged in Wixom man's murder

24-year-old Wixom man found shot to death in Southfield

SOUTHFIELD, Mich. – A 20-year-old Detroit man is charged with murder after a 24-year-old Wixom man was found dead last week in Southfield.

Tre Devon Johnson faces one count of homicide and one count of possession of a firearm in commission of a felony in connection to the death of Leonard Graham. Police believe Johnson and Graham were acquaintances.

Graham had been missing since Sept. 14 after celebrating his 24th birthday at the Village Green on Franklin apartments in Southfield. It was the last time he was seen alive. He was found shot in the head just days later in a wooded area in Southfield.

Police are investigating a possible motive.

Johnson was arrested last week and arraigned on Monday. His preliminary examination is scheduled for Sept. 30. Bond has been denied.
