DETROIT - Tuesday morning will be dry and chilly with lows just below 40 degrees. Students heading back to school can enjoy outdoor recess and after-school activities with mostly sunny skies and highs in the low to mid 60s.

A cold front brings a chance of showers after midnight and Wednesday morning. Temps will be in the 40s overnight.

Wednesday morning will be wet. Wednesday afternoon will be dry and cooler with highs in the low and mid 50s.

Like a roller coaster, temps go back up Thursday - above 60. Then highs go back down Friday - below 60. This weekend becomes milder again, but the chance of showers returns with highs in the 60s.
