PONTIAC, Mich. - Some Dream Cruisers say they've been hit with a nightmare after their classic cars were damaged by an Oakland County Sheriff's Office helicopter.

Late Saturday night, witnesses tell Local 4 the helicopter was flying too low over an area in Pontiac – causing dirt and small rocks to kick up.

The debris scratched and dinged cars, even injuring a young girl.

"My daughter, I looked back, she's seven feet in the air and upside down ," said Terry McIninch. "She fell down into the side of my car and went face first into the ground."

The Oakland County Sheriff's Office released a statement saying Air 1 was assisting deputies by lighting the area of Raeburn and Woodward where a large fight broke out.
