Grand Rapids General Election Results for November 7, 2017

Voters in Grand Rapids, Michigan will head to the polls on November 7, 2017 to decide on some important issues in the 2017 General Election.

Voters in Grand Rapids' 3rd Ward will decide between incumbent candidate, Commissioner Senita Lenear and Kent Boersema, who ran for the seat in 2011.

Kurt Reppart and Joe Jones won the 1st and 2nd Ward seats back in August.

Voters will also vote on a millage proposal for the Grand Rapids Public Library, which would continue a tax rate approved by voters in 1997. The new proposal would allow the library to use the money for things other than for upgrades to library buildings.

Grand Rapids Public Schools is asking voters to renew the district’s operating millage.
