DETROIT – Magic Mike stars Channing Tatum in a story inspired by his real life as a male dancer. The film follows Mike, played by Tatum, as he takes a young dancer called The Kid, played by Alex Pettyfer, under his wing and schools him in the fine arts of partying, picking up women, and making easy money. Matthew McConaughey plays Dallas. He's the troops promoter and a dancer himself. Magic Mike is directed by Steven Soderbergh.
I had a chance to talk with both Channing Tatum and Matthew McConaughey about the movie, dancing and wardrobe malfunctions.
