DETROIT - Local 4 has obtained a financial document that shows imprisoned former Detroit City Council President Monica Conyers owes thousands of dollars to Neiman Marcus and is still paying down student loans.

The financial disclosure was filed by Conyers' husband, U.S. Rep. John Conyers, to the United States House of Representatives.

It shows Monica Conyers owes between $15,001 and $50,000 in revolving credit card debt for the high-end retailer.

It also shows she owes between $50,001 and $100,000 from a student loan – from the late 1990s.

The document also shows a debt between $15,001 and $50,000 on an "investment property" on Charlevoix Street in Detroit.

The couple also owes between $100,001 and $250,000 on the mortgage of their home on West Seven Mile Road.

Conyers was sent to a West Virginia facility in 2010 to serve a 37-month sentence for bribery. She pleaded guilty to taking bribes in exchange for her vote on the city's contract with Synagro Technologies.

She's scheduled to be released in May 2013.
